What a grey day

In the Quick Cards magazine is a comp for a card made with just shades of one colour - I thought lots of people would use blues and pinks and greens so I would do something a bit different - and so I could use my favourite Mo Manning image.
The bad news is that Rob is at work so could not take photo - the good news is that Phill has just come home and has an I-Phone so I have my picture.
Between them Phil, Alex and Rob have an I-Phone, an I-Pad and an I-Pod.......me I have an I-ron!!

Cards for Camas

The kids at church are off to CAMAS - its on Iona - a church activity week - my idea of HELL!! all abseiling, camping and walking miles getting soaking wet. My boys did it when they were younger and loved it. Anyway they are trying to raise funds - i will need to take out a second mortgage to pay all the kids I have sponsored! So I have been busy the last few nights making simple cards to sell at church in the morning. I will sell them for a quid so hopefully will get a few pounds to put towards their funds.
Still not got a camera - Robert just back from the pub so can not vouch for the quality of this photo - but I am sure it will show the beauty of my ironing board cover.

Still a Novelty and Blog Challenge

I am still posting and having a go at putting photos on - well calling Robert to do it - but we do have a scanner that I may be able to cope with better. At the moment this blog is a novelty and I am posting daily but I am sure in a few weeks I will be posting weekly or monthly or the odd year. It's a bit like baby photos - we have 100s of Phillip, quite a few of Alex and poor Rob just got the odd photo taken - the novelty of the wonder of children had worn off by then!!!

I am now going to try and enter my first blog challenge with this card I am entering my mums craft shop challenge - its for pearls and swirls.
The stamp is hero arts - i think, the papers are stamping up and I have used liquid pearls and stickles and coloured with promarkers.

Off to try and enter - I may be some time!!

I am not a smoker - honest!!

It looks like I am on 20 fags a minute judging by the state of my yellow fingers - yep I had the distress inks out again - it's distressing the mess I make!!! Anyway I really liked the end result - so am looking for all my quotation stamps now - and I neeeeeeeeeed  some purple distress inks - but not half as much as a decent digital camera - just woke Robert up from his bed to take this photo on his phone.

I love Mo Manning

Just having a go at posting - seeing if I can remember how to do it - I am so rubbish with anything technical - I have told Robert he can't move out til he is at least 30 as I need him as my technical support.
Anyway - like I said I love Mo Manning images - you can always find what you need - here is a card I made for my lovely lovely brother-in-law.
